With NYC DOB violations on the rise, it is important for property owners to familiarize themselves with the paperwork issued when a property does not adhere to the New York City Construction Codes and or Zoning Resolution.

These are called ECB violations and will be indicated as such on the top of your form.

What are the most important parts of the form?

1- Violation Severity:

2- Violation Type: Infraction Code: Specifics to the violation and how you need to fix it.

3- Hearing Information: This will indicate if you have an opportunity to get the work done before a hearing. Pay attention to this date!

Got an ECB violation and having trouble on what to do next? Give us a call, we will walk you through it!
