FISP SWARMP Civil Penalty Reminder
As of February 21, 2020, the Department of Buildings can leverage a civil penalty for failure to correct a Safe with Repair and Maintenance Program (SWARMP) on Façade Inspection Safety Program (FISP) eligible buildings deemed unsafe because the owner failed to correct conditions identified in the previous FISP report. Failure to correct the condition can result in a violation and a one-time civil penalty of $2,000. To Pay a Penalty Penalties can be paid to the Central Cashier
