The tour begins at Bronx Community College Campus, previously New York University, featuring the Stanford White-designed Guild Memorial Library, Marcel Breuer's brutalist academic buildings, and the Hall of Fame of Great Americans. It continues to the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail, highlighting the 1842 Croton Aqueduct and its impact on The Bronx and New York City by providing clean drinking water. The tour then moves to University Avenue, emphasizing the area's history and architectural gems, including pre-war Art-Deco buildings, and the development of infrastructure like the elevated No. 4 train in 1917.
