Located on Main Street (NY 207) in Goshen, New York, was the main office of the government of Orange County. The Orange County Government Center houses most county official's offices and meetings of the county legislature. It was designed by architect Paul Rudolph, who was the dean of the Yale School of Architecture. The building was completed in 1970 and an great example of Brutalist architecture. Department of Buildings Rescinds COVID Enforcement Measures
The New York City Department of Buildings rescinded several COVID enforcement measures.


DOB Now: Build New Document Requirement Delayed
The Department of Buildings is delaying a requirement to upload a Property Ownership Certificate Form until August. In August, in order to proceed with a permit request for New Building and Alteration-CO in DOB NOW: Build, the ownership form will be required. New Façade Violations Portal Launching July 12
The Department of Buildings is launching a new façade violations search portal on Monday, July 12 in DOB NOW: Safety. Post Your Energy Efficiency Rating Label
Local Law 33 Local Law 33 of 2018 requires all buildings that are on the NYC Benchmarking Covered Buildings List to post their Energy Efficiency Rating Label. Last month the Department of Buildings began issuing violations to building owners with more than 25,000 square feet (single structures) or multiple buildings on a single lot that total 100,000 square feet or more. The Civil Penalty for Failure to Post is $1,250 Owners that receive a violation can view and pay the civil
